Faint Fibre Outlet (FFO) with Pre-terminated Fibre Spool

The FFO-2.0 features a built-in fibre spool containing 15m of 1.5mm G657.A2 fibre cable, pre-terminated at both ends with connectors. One end connects directly to the incoming fibre via an adaptor, while the other end, allows for flexible routing up to 15m within the property to facilitate easy connection to a router.

Full description

The outlet is supplied with a connector plate which houses one of the LC/APC or SC/APC connectors as well as being the winding key for the fibre spool. Tamper-proof latches on the side securely fasten the cover to the base, while an overhang design restricts access to adapters and connectors, ensuring they remain secure when the cover is in place.

An optional fibre management routing kit can be purchased to ensure that the minimum bend radius of the fibre cable is not exceeded during installation. Each consists of external / internal corner bend managers and through-the-wall cable managers.

The FFO-2.0 is a single gang socket size outlet which is manufactured from Polycarbonate + ABS V0 rated material. The base of the outlet has adjustable keyholes to allow for ease of positioning and installation and each outlet is supplied with a standard fixing kit.
