The Connectorised Customer Wall Box (CCWB) is a Building Entry Point (BEP) which provides a fibre termination and demarcation point external to the connected premise in a Fibre to the Home (FTTH) network.

The closure has a total of 8 entry/exit points, 6 in the bottom and 2 in the rear cover which will manage cable/ducts up to a maximum diameter of 8mm.

Mechanical fixings are provided to secure all incoming and outgoing cables and blown fibre ducts, and to provide strain relief where necessary.

Full description

A fibre storage module provides a transition point from external to internal fibre cable. The module base allows for the management and storage of up to 30m of a blowable fibre unit (nominal diameter 1.2mm) or 10m of aerial drop cable (nominal diameter 3mm). The upper section of the module is supplied with a 15m LC/APC to LC/APC pre-connectorised 1.5mm G657.A2 B2ca fibre cable, which can be de-spooled from inside the property.

A fibre adaptor plate and fibre splice holder fit onto the fibre storage module and can be detached during installation. The fibre adaptor holder is fitted with an LC/APC duplex adaptor, and the splice protector holder will manage both 3A and ANT splice protectors. The fibre adaptor plate can also be used to assist with winding the fibre cable on and off the fibre storage module.

The CCWB is an IP54 / IK07 rated enclosure manufactured from UV-stable polycarbonate. The enclosure is fitted with a tamper-proof lock and has a 55 × 15mm inset position on the front cover, allowing a customer logo to be moulded. The closure is supplied with 3.0 – 8.0mm seals.

An optional CCWB Cable Entry Cover fits to the base of the CCWB enclosure, providing an aesthetic finish to the CCWB installation.
