The Smart Switch Test Adaptor Kit With 3 Leads is designed to provide a simple audio output when detecting electromagnetic signals, which may cause interference to communications services, for tracing purposes. Compact testing device that enables technicians to test all connectors within the access network using one single device. It allows switching between monitor, customer and exchange easily.

Product Details

The tester is a battery-powered device requiring non-rechargeable cells (1 PP3 type). It is equipped with controls, supporting the following functions: 

1. An on/off switch – this switch provides a timed operating period for the tester and is a non-latching type. 
2. An LED indicator to show that the device is powered on. 
3. A volume control. This control adjusts the volume of the demodulated audio and the volume of the search tone. 
4. A Band select switch 
5. A Level meter 
6. A sensitivity switch. 
7. A demodulator mode switch – This control selects either peak or average detection. 
8. A search / demodulator switch 
9. An antenna connector. 
10. An internal loudspeaker. 
11. Earpiece connector is to suit an inexpensive “Walkman” type earpiece, fitted with a 3.5 stereo plug.
