Mills Microduct Pressure and Integrity Test Kit
The Mills Microduct Pressure and Integrity Test Kit is an essential piece of kit for all blown fibre installers.
The kit is optimised to suit 7mm and 8mm microduct installations and contains a blown fibre inflator with air flow gauge for measuring the microduct integrity and identification of air leaks. In addition the kit contains a 7 compartment storage box with 8mm to 7mm reducers as well as a calibrator pellet and sponge catcher. The test kit is supplied with a Mills microduct cutter in an ABS storage case with foam insert.
Please note, microduct in not supplied with this kit and calibrator pellets and sponges should be purchased separately.
The full contents comprise:
C00-6697 Blown Fibre Air Inflator -A simple air inflator for testing the integrity of blown fibre duct installations or micro duct pressure testing. The inflator can pressurise ducts up to 12 Bar. It is supplied with a standard PCL fitting, 8mm straight thread to tube adaptor. This 8mm adaptor can be adapted to fit other tube diameters, by use of the reducing adaptors shown on this page. The inflator should be used in conjunction with end caps and the S83-6189 Air Flow Gauge.
S83-6189 Air Flow Gauge- Used in conjunction with C00-6697 Blown Fibre Air Inflator, this airflow gauge is used for testing the integrity of blown fibre duct installations or micro duct pressure testing. The airflow gauge can measure flow rates of up to 50 litres per minute and is supplied with an 8mm swivel elbow adaptor.
S00-6708 Catcher for Calibrator Pellets and Sponges - A heavy duty stainless steel catcher for use on blown fibre installations to catch calibrator pellets and cleaning sponges. The catcher is designed to be used on 8mm microducts but 7mm reducers are supplied with the kit.
