Mills Fused Subduct / Mono Bore 6 (8-10mm ID) Pulling Eye Carrot
A fused pulling eye designed primarily for pulling of subduct mono bore 6 and other polyethylene ducting with an internal bore of between 8-10mm.
These ‘grips threaded’ have cutting edges which actually make a thread in the bore of the ducting, similar to using a tap to cut a thread in steel.
To ensure a reliable grip we recommend 7 or 8 full threads of contact using a 14mm spanner.
The carrot contains a 1.5KN replaceable fuse to protect the duct during the pulling installation.
