Drummond MTL15 1000V CAT IV Voltage Indicator

This voltage pen - MTL15 extends the application areas for Drummond test lamps to higher voltage installations. With AC/DC voltage indication thresholds of 50, 230, 400 and 690V plus a 1000V CAT IV safety rating, the MTL15 is the ideal solution for proving dead in all installation categories defined in BS EN 61010.

In common with all the MTL Series, the MTL15 test lamp does not require batteries and has no ranges or switches ensuring reliable indication of hazardous voltages every time.

Safe electrical work requires the use of a voltage indicator or test lamp that has been proved with a proving device before and after use. The MTL15PD-S includes an MTL15 test lamp complete with a matching PD690S proving device and the TC71 combination carry case.

Applications

The MTL15 is supplied with three interchangeable test probes for safe and easy measurement in all types of application particularly where access is restricted. In addition to the standard supplied 62mm straight (x2) and right-angled probe (x1), extended 130mm probes are available as accessories.
