Prysmian SDWB Small Distribution Wall Box 220 x 150 x 50mm
The Small Distribution Wall box is a wall mounted product used for the distribution of fibres to up to six customer drop cables. Each customer has an individual splice tray that can house up to four splices.
The box also has the added feature of a built in figure of eight routing system, that prevents fibre movement when aerial input cables are subjected to ice and wind loading. The unit is supplied with a gas/water block for the input cable.
The box can be supplied in white or dark grey and has a sealing rating of IP55. Customer drop cables of 3 to 6mm can be distributed from the box.
Features
• Can be supplied in white or dark grey.
• Each box comes with three double splice trays (6 customer trays) pre-fitted, and a single element splice tray for spare fibre storage.
• The box is supplied with a Gas/water block connector for use with blown fibre input cables and a 6-6mm reducer and 3mm transport tube.
• All fibres are positively managed to maintain a 30mm minimum bend radius within the wall box.
• A unique figure of eight locking system is integrated into the box. This prevents movement of fibres from aerial input cables when subjected to ice and wind loading.
• The box is sealed to IP55.
• Splice trays hinge upwards individually, allowing full access to spliced fibres without disturbance to live fibres in adjacent trays.
•The wall boxes come with everything required to install one input cable and up to six drop cables (only splice protectors to be ordered separate)
• Storage area inside the box to hold any unused output cable sealing grommets.
• The boxes are UV stable to prevent discolouration of the material. The boxes are manufactured from UL94-V0 rated materials.
