Prysmian CTB Pre-Terminated SC/APC 2 Fibre 70m
The Pre-terminated Compact Termination Box MK3 (CTB MK3) kit for internal cables is designed for use in residential and business applications.
The wall box is supplied on a cardboard reel with a length of cable preinstalled in the factory. This process eliminates the need for splicing or fitting field mount connectors in the customer premises.
The cable is simply pulled out of the box, back to the floor/riser box and the CTB MK3 can be secured to the wall or clipped on a DIN rail, without the need to open the unit.
According to the configuration, the CTB MK3 is equipped from one to four SC/APC inner-shuttered adaptor. The cables are LSOH. The cable can either be a «pull» type or a «push » type inside embedded duct and contains from one to four fibres Bendbright XS (G.657.A2).

• On the front main cover a flip cover is available for an identification label.
• Removable main cover for easy access.
• The CTB MK3 is pre-terminated in the factory to a length of cable using SC/APC connectors. Fully tested, each box is supplied with data for insertion loss and return loss for each connector.
• The «pull» type cables (L1082-x or L1088-2) for duct installation or direct to the wall installation are LSOH, have a 4 mm nominal diameter, can contain from one to four fibres BendbrightXS (G.657.A2) in a 900 microns buffer, SC/APC pre-terminated.
• The «push» type cables (L1087-xR) for duct installation are LSOH, have a 2,7 mm maximum diameter, can contain from one to four fibres BendbrightXS (G.657.A2) in a 900 microns buffer, SC/APC pre-terminated. All the accessories needed to push the cable are supplied within the kit.
• Cables can enter unit from rear, bottom, top, right hand side or left hand side.
• All fibres are positively managed to maintain a 15mm minimum bend radius.
• A splice tray is available when maintenance is needed, for up to 4 fusion splices.
• Patch cords exit the unit on bottom face and are protected by the use of inner-shuttered adapters.
• Supplied with a bracket for wall mounting (with screws or double face tape) for embedded electrical junction box or for mounting directly onto a DIN Rail.
